Here we go again.....Jimmy WAS great for the Fleet.......we won without him ......We won against him........Jimmy is history.............MOVE ON........ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

My own view would be to re-sign him. If the oppertunity arose. He may not play every game, but then few do. The commitment that he had for 'The Fleet' was outstanding. Last time around the third season at this level ended in relegation. That must not happen. Dagenham signed him because they saw the potential in the right team. It didnt work. He's a non-league international. There will be departures at the end of this season. I hope not many. Jimmy Jackson would add valuable experience and heart to the squad. The more the merrier next time around.

 

Loved the performance and the result yesterday. Thanks to all those involved. It's a good time to support 'The Fleet' right now.

Jimmy was (still is?) a legend and it was a way of showing our appreciation for the service he gave the club.

 

There were some superb songs yesterday, my throat is still shot to pieces! We seem to be building quite a reportoire now. Jeez, there was even an Andy Ford one again!

Great reception for Jacko yesterday - if any of our ex-players don't deserve a barracking on their comeback appearance it's him. I personally agree with carjam, and would welcome him back with open arms. If the Daggers are intending to complete the transition from part-time to full-time for next season, it will be interesting to see whether Jacko would be willing to make that transition himself.

There was also another Ex Gravesend lad sitting in the stand watching the game yesterday..Mark Bentley. I didnt get a chance to speak to him and find out who he was supporting.
