question about Glasto tickets...

Right, so when you book, you have to give the address of yourself and the other person you're booking for. Then, the tickets are personalized for you and your friend and the personalized id of the ticket has to match the addresses given. right?

 

but just say, for example the other person drops out of going. Does that mean the ticket is totally non-transferable to someone who lives at another address, as it won't match the original address given? If so, isn't that a bit of a waste? I mean sure your friend can pay you the money back, but isn't the ticket then wasted?

 

or have I got this completley wrong!

Sounds like it Chubbster, but all you'd need to do was take some of that mate's ID with you to Glasto (ie. a Bank Statement, Bill or something) and I'm sure they'd let you in.

 

I doubt they'll even check ID when it comes to the day.

YOu can't transfer the ticket, you have to give it back for a refund and it gets resold.
