Even more confused now. A number of people have said they've got in using this link https://freya.wayahead-secure.co.uk/glas...er1=glastonbury which is the same as the advertised one, but with Freya at the front. It also gives a message about security certificates when you use it - which makes me instantly suspicious. Apparently other people have already recieved their confirmation emails from the correct people when using it though. What do you reckon Zeal, should I do it from here or not?

That's what I think, but then how would people have recieved exactly the same confirmation emails as people who've used the correct web address?

 

I really don't know what to do now, especially as I'm using the Lawyer's card!!

 

Guess we ought to go back to trying the official link, which probably means we won't get them - aaarrrghg <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Glastonbury Festival organiser Emily Eavis spoke exclusively to Xfm today saying they were selling "around 100 tickets a minute" and that there were still tens of thousands of tickets left. However, the aloud website doesn't appear to be handling the ticket sales very well at all. After being down for most of the night it is now up but still seems unable to do the job it's meant to. Disgruntled would be punters are clearly frustrated as they are told that they have requested too many tickets and then getting kicked out after retrying. Emily Eavis' advice is to use the phone system (0870 830 2004) as it's more reliable, saying "I know it's frustrating when it's engaged all the time but it's still possible it really is, just keep trying. There's over 40,000 left, that's a lot of tickets and there are hundreds of operators."

 

In that case I'll give up on the website and just try the phoneline.

*Tickets will cost £112.00 plus £3.00 booking fee and £4.00 postage and packing - how much?!!!!!!!!

*No credit cards can be used, only debit cards. Electron cards will not be accepted. - <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

*Tickets sales will be restricted to two per person and per telephone call. Each transaction will be thoroughly checked, and duplicate transactions will be declined - if not at the time of sale, at a later stage. - that's not fare!!!!!!!

*All tickets will be personalised and checks will be made at the gates. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

You will need to give a name and address for each person coming to the festival.

Anyway, with 20 odd tents/stages going on at one time, I'm sure you'd find something you'd want to do, and if not, most people like to spend some time chilling too.

 

£112 is a fking cheap weekend break anyway, regardless of the music.

 

It's not Party In The Park y'know. You don't just stand in a field having to watch whatever band happens to be on at the time.

 

Helski's been to a rock festival. Ask her.

LOL!!!!!! The bands that ususally play at Glasto, i wouldn't be into!!!!!

Yes, i could go, pitch a tent and chill out with a pint in my hand, and smoke wacky backy (do they search you for that?!!!!!!) but i could do that all in my back garden, and have Robbie blasting away for free!!!!!!!! Bargain!!!!!
