Ryman League - Hornchurch 0 Hendon 2

This was a game of few chances - in fact neither keeper was particularly busy. For about half an hour of the first half we looked very comfortable and well on top. Going forward we looked sharp and a goal would surely come. Little did we know that by half time we would be 2-0 down. The first came on 33 minutes when Steve Butler swivelling on the edge of the area to lift the ball over the defence and curl it into the corner of the net. Just before half time came another blow when Dwayne Plummer turned on a sixpence to sweep the ball in from about 6 yards

Gary Abbott and Robert Martin came on for Adam Locke and Mark Graham at half time but try as we might we got little change from the Hendon defence, in fact probably our best chance came in injury time when a free Gary Abbott header went straight into the arms of keeper Danny Naisbitt.

Line-up:- Gay, Gooding, Rowland, Adedeji, Southon, Locke (Abbott 45), Keeling (Douglas 82), Graham (R Martin 45), John, McGowan, J Martin. Subs not used:- Dell, McCartney (GK).
