That was fecking abysmal last night, a disgrace. There was no passion, no team spirit, no effort, nothing at all. One up front, what the feck is that about??? Fair enough if we boss the midfield, but we didn't. Hendon had it easy last night, they probably won't get an easier 3 points all season!

I getting fecked off big time with some of the shat that we are being served up this season, no where in the league, out of all the cups to shat opposition, its only the FA Cup run that gives us anything to take away from this season!

understand your sentiments Lord and I share the view that we have definately lost our way...4-5-1...at home.......???????

we were woeful last night but then again you have to question team selection...what the fck is a 39 year old striker doing playing for Hx....nothing personal but come on....fck me..we can sign any striker we want to...

as for the season...well I know what you mean but looking at it objectively we have to keep a realistic view....at the start of the season we aimed for top 6 and good cup runs.....I think we will get top six or better and we have of course had a good FA Cup run and also a trophy quarter final.....

I think the real disappointment comes from the current sterile performances...I dont mind losing but lets lose with some fckin dignity and go down with all guns blazing....

Only Jamie and Ollie(again) can hold their heads high after lasts nights performance. Worst performance I have seen this year and I go to West Ham so that statement speaks volumes.

Obviously we needed to sign new, better players in order to progress this season. I'm realistic enough to understand that the boys of last season wouldn't be doing as well as this team but it is times like last night when I wish they were out there. At least they wore the shirt with pride and gave 100% every game.

Bridge, Stoke is the only one that compares but I still think last night edges it slightly.

Nige, I think I did see you on Sat but I was rushing out of the ground to beat the traffic. Were you wearing a blue wooly hat?

Raver, no mate, although I have been known to wear a fine selection of headgear over there.

I was wearing "Technica" trainers (Smart), some nice dark blue jeans (Button ups) a sixties, long sleeved replica West Ham top & a very trendy blue SCHOTT jacket (Not chav one).

Anyway, I'm not sure I'd agree with those who said your lot were lazy, just second best in midfield from about the 30th minute to the 60th because of the fact that our lads were mixing it up a lot more. The other thing is that we seemed to have the edge passion-wise, although you probably weren't helped with GB's touchline ban preventing him from geeing your lot up with that.

Nice set-up you've got for an athletics ground - best one like that I've been to - and probably won't see better for quite a while... hopefully we can make Copthall look similar as and when we get there.

See you all next year

Agree Unc, still massive steps forward this season, no arguing with that. But the support, the resources, some of the players we have, the desire of the board and of course the money, should be pushing this club forward further than we have gone this year. What totally fecks me off is when players show a lack of effort. The best players in the world are worth feck all if they don't put in the effort! Someone needs to start stiring up a bit of passion.

I just don't understand what is missing on the pitch, in my opinon we need a saw loser, somebody who hates to lose and does their nut when they don't win the Danny Mills/Robbie Savage type of player.

Also maybe some players are resigned to being let go at the end of the season but surely thats even more of a reason to be proving their point on the pitch.

To be fair though Urchino, its not the first time we have been on here criticising the teams effort. If it was just an end of season, nothing to gain, type of match then fair enough. But on too many occasions this season the team has performed like this, lacking effort and passion.

You're not supposed to be on here!!!

Turns to Canvey fans: "I never saw him tonight, honest!!!!! Saw lots of other Canvey fans tho'".

Huh, huh wonder whether someone was doing a spying mission. Noticed I was the only one brave enough to wear my colours with my yellow scarf around my neck!

Think I pissed a few people off by celebrating both Hendon goals, thought LMU was going to hit me!

The Ryman Premier has always been an awkward Division. I have never really seen a talented and skilled side play their way out of it (Canvey will be the exception this season, but look at how many attempts to do it!). The pluggers and the sloggers have nearly always won the day.

As a club with a recent history of all high's, I'm pretty sure this lapse won't do you any harm at all in the long term. A learning curve all round with the addition that your Board/Chairman will no doubt be really setup by their experiences this campaign and already preparing for your promotion challenge from Conference South next season. You're obviously a club going places. Enjoy it.

At the beginning of the season a lot of us old lags were questioning 'the upstarts' spirit and will. I am big enough to come on here and admit that you've proved your point and you didn't have to finish 1st to do it. Best of luck for the run in.
