Staines Reserves vs Slough Town Reserves

On Wednesday our reserves travel to Staines in the Capital League. Given that it would appear to be between Staines and Slough for the magical 6th spot in the Ryman League this season this match could well have a bit of bite to it, though with Staines playing Bracknell tonight I doubt there will be too many first teamers lining up. Should be a good crack though

 

Kick off according to the Staines website is 7.30.

Does anyone know how far the ground is from Staines train station.? Presuming they play at their home ground.

More importantly than 6th place in the Ryman First Division South, the match might also go some way to deciding who gets the Capital League wooden spoon!

I'll be going at the speed of Lathey hopefully to get to the match.... Might even be my last match of the season!!! Woo-hoo!

Well, hypothetically speaking, I'm resigned to attending Met Police (a) and Yeading (a) in the Capital League. First one for the walk, the second for the report duty I carry out in honour of that fantastic official website we have.

 

Aside from that, unless I'm convinced by the actions of the club otherwise, can't say I'll be too bothered about missing the last few games.

 

Might be there for the Croydon game though as some people at work expressed an interest in coming along.
