Yes folks thats right. In just 12 days Mr Abid Hussain will stride into Stag Meadow once more to run the line in our important match against Molesey. The man, last seen at home against Dulwich, is a living legend and I hope we can all welcome him as so.

Surely we saw Abid more recently than the home Dulwich game Radders, that was months ago!

No, Dulwich was definately his last game, he also did Cheshunt on the previous Wednesday and one game last season against Kingstonian or Wycombe (can't remember which) at Wexham Park. I hope it was the Wycombe game otherwise we've got a knack of losing when he is on the line.

The man may be a living legend but there is now no doubt in my mind that the man is completely useless as an official. Saying that I believe he only flagged Boot offside twice in the first half which must be a new record low for any half of football this season so he's not all bad.

Well... at least he had a little giggle at the song. How many officials can you say would do that, or even recognise friendly banter? Also, how many officials can say they have had songs sung about them? He must have been pretty chuffed !
