Took littl'un to see Busted last night at Wembley Arena.

Biggest concentration of training bras outside of Mark & Sparx warehouse.

 

The gig was fairly good, although I think the 3 backing band members had an important role!!!

They were supported by McFly [?] who were a cross between the Monkees and The Who and the first support act was V.

Did someone on this forum mention something about the boy-band known as "V"?

 

Anyway, it was the first time I've ever been near Wembley sober, and it was a strange experience to see more people at a concert eating candyfloss than drinking lager.

 

Now if only Busted would drop those American accents then they'd have a bit more cred....!

I rather my daughter was into a band which can play and write their own songs than that load of trollop called "V". They looked like 5 drunk teenagers just skipping around on stage shouting out "Yo" every now and then. Complete and utter rubbish...and many of the kids [inc my own] thought they were V Poor!!!

 

Busted's lyrics are quite good - well, at least there's humour in them.
