3 points today, please, lads!

great performance in the second half, after a dismal boring first, reminded me of the barnet game, MOUSSA WAS ELECTRIC when he cam eon, manny was immense, the back four were rock solid. macca was all ovwer the pitch, drury was skinning players left right and centre, and roy was his usual excellent self.

I feel this team, if we can keep everyone is really going places.

Yep!! we seem to have found the core of a team that are more then good enough for this level!!

the defence which was like a sive until x mas is now solid and the centre backs shearer and Moore (hope hes ok after that knock) are immense!!

it was nice to see the midfeild lads bombing on forward to support roy (what a player) and Mani (sign him !!)

I spoke to Sidibe ( in french - well the basic stuff) and he sd he like us @ the fleet!!

Roy was excellent - agree, apart from that glaring miss at 2-0 up.

Macca , like most, had a poor first half, but improved second half.

The pace of both Manny and Moussa really found Tamworth out - especially when they were trying to push forward to get something from the game.

Mind you, thought Tamworth were the poorest side seen at Stonebridge Road this season so far - 2 efforts on target all game (and only real effort off target as well) says it all really - no wonder they've only scored 14 goals away from home.

I have to agree Alan - but we've still got Farnborough and Northwich to come at home, who are both below the Lambs in the table! As mentioned elsewhere, their red card was harsh, but they looked an indisciplined team, what with all their dissent, and their number 4 should definitely been dismissed after throwing the ball down on the floor in disgust right in front of the referee, having already been booked.

I must admit I thought we were lucky to go in at half-time 1-0 up, with both sides as poor as each other in the first half. However, in the second we just blew them away - just like at Aldershot, Moussa's pace made a huge difference in the second half.

I just hope that Moore's injury isn't too serious, what with Duku injured. We know that Matt Rouse is a defender, but is he a centre-back? On the other hand, perhaps Matt Lee could fill in if necessary.

With Farnborough on 33 points with 15 still available (we've still got to play them as well) we now only require 5 points from our last 7 games to ensure safety with 49 points. This is, of course, the mathematical equation and not the actual one whereby we're already safe 'cos we're gonna stuff 'Borough and the Vics at home and give the soon to be managerless Daggers a good thumping as well. And where are the 'Ford Out:I'm boycotting games: we're relegation certanties' brigade now? Slinking back into their holes with their proverbial tails firmly stuck between their legs!! Oooer, missus!!!!

We have every chance of finishing in the top 10, and with that, of earning a place in the LDV next season.

Since Xmas, we have played 14 won 7, drawn 5, lost 2. Imagine if we had reproduced that throughout the season - 78 points over the season - 2nd or 3rd place finish.

Just being a little more realistic, though - had we even got just a couple more wins in those first seven games, we would comfortably be looking at a top half finish by now.

The Rules of the LDV Trophy, found on the Football League website, make no reference to eligibility criteria - only that it is "Invited Clubs from the Natonwide Conference" who take part. LDV Rules can be found HERE .

Given that the Promotion Criteria was changed last July, I would have thought that a Capacity of 4000 and seating for a minimum of 500 would be sufficient to allow entry to the LDV. The only issue on that would be whether the Football League require confirmation of the ability to increase capacity to 5000 and seating to 1000, and I cant see that could be the case, if a club was not going to be playing in the League, only in the LDV.

I dont doubt our Chairman has researched this, and is , in all probability , correct, but it would be nice to fully understand the reasons for this.

I have e-mailed the Football League to satisfy myself on this and will update further once I get a response.
