Just an observation but Garry Hill is leaving D+R at the end of the season ..... and Steve Watts is probably the best striker we've had since Clark, he's banging them in in a struggling team.

It may be quite a big jigsaw but I've just found two pieces!

Given that he's leaving a club because they can't match his ambition of going into the Football League, I'm not sure he would be keen on Ryman football again.

 

Much more likely to be meeting up with Marvin at The Abbey in the Summer me thinks. Although don't discount the Barnet rumour!

Hill would be popular with a lot of people, not just those one or two who were making racist remarks about the Harrow keeper.

 

There's also a few others resigning at the end of the season, so expect another managerial merry-go-round come the summer.

The Harrow game was 10 days ago and the attendance was a pitiful 195. You could have heard a pin drop. Rob's reference above was the first I have heard of any suggestion of any 'inappropriate' language used.

 

We at The Mighty Saints are seriously anti-racist. The vast majority of those who stand behind the goal, some of whom have posted on here, are seriously anti-racist. The only occasion that there has been any of that sort of thing at Clarence Park, or anywhere else come to that, to my knowledge was some kids last season who made a comment at the Purfleet 'keeper. They haven't been back since.

Ah, I'd forgotten about that. I'll drop the club a line to see if they can get 'whispering fred' to include something in his pre-match spiel.

 

As I said, it was only one person, and only those in the immediate vicinity could hear it, but still inexcusable.
