Eh? I blame the managers. It all started to go wrong towards the end of the Kendal era. Last season's brief success at the start of the season was a fluke and once the rest of the League had got up to speed we were found wanting.

 

Until we get a Sid Prosser/John Mitchell/Garry Hill in charge and a Steve Clark banging 'em in we're not going to win anything and certainly not entice back the missing hundreds.

John Kendall was the worst appointment of the 98-02 era. A disaster.

 

If only we'd known of and appointed Cook & Robbo when Hilly reneged on his contract in 2000, City would be in the Conference.
