Sick of getting pissed and acting like a [****!!****], so I've given up football and beer.

 

I'm taking up Tai-chi and hiking instead.

Hey ... a few flaws in your statement.

 

Football ....well I suppose if you say so, and from what I remember I haven't seen you drink much beer (everything else yes, but not much beer).... so come to the reserve game on Saturday. No travel time for mischief beforehand and guaranteed entertainment.

I imagine they will. Cambridge are in free-fall and unfortunately I can see them getting relegated, which will bugger up my plans for next season.

 

Every team I touch turns to sh*t. I adopted Cambridge and Macclesfield (my wife's home town) about three seasons ago, and it looks likely that both may well be in the Conference next season!!

If you're going, stand in the Newmarket Road end - best for atmos. Best bacon rolls & grub in the League (Official) and bar staff in the hospitality areas that put the Urchinettes to shame.

 

PS mind the portacabins on your way in and make sure you buy a programme.

Bad luck that. Supporting Cambridge and Macclesfield and they're both quite clearly on the way down. But what can you do, eh?

 

Top pub down the road from the Cambridge ground. Looks like a rough joint when you go in, but they do excellent Thai food.

That sounded like a pretty wild night! I had to admit it was bloody funny when Zeal (Marvin the Moose, why the name change geez?) started going on about EFM having few friends from other Non League clubs.

Getting home at 2am after a City awayday means it was normally as good one - add the lapdancers as well and it was perfect!
