WTF?! Erm... WTF?!

Never seen such a performance as dire as that [and I've watched Bradford City many a time!]...

There was only one team that wanted it tonite, and I've got to give credit to them, the Casuals were in at every tackle, up for every ball and battling away. With a couple of exceptions, I didn't particularly see any players tonite that wanted it enough. [notice: couple of nice touches and moves from Gilkes...! Still got it...]

These are the bottom of the league, but showed more character than us. We've just thrown away 3 points [*should* have been easy pickings], same again this Saturday... can't afford to loose 3 points to lower sides.

Hope they get a good kick up the @r$e before Saturday...

Just like to say well done to the Slough fans who applauded the Casuals team off at the end of the match. They were the better side in every department throughout, and it was a nice sporting gesture by the Slough fans at the end of the match,

i thought we were all banned because we pay our money and watch the game through tinted glasses and see all the good going on? this game was absolutely [****!!****] crap, no passion, no commitment, no desire, no [****!!****] nothing. the only player who can come out of this steaming pile of [****!!****] crap is Glen harris who actually showed a stomach for the fight.

i mean, did they all get out of their cars, see the casuals were bottom and expect to win just because we're fifth? didn't they see who much better casuals played than us at the Meadow? didn't they realise that for the last four games we've been b*llocks and that we really should have been beaten by Croydon Ath and Banstead? have any of the lessons when we've been beaten at all this season been learned? or shall we all sit here and yell "go on Slough, you're 4-1 down and have played like a bunch of [****!!****] pricks, maybe you can slavage something from the game, one tiny positive which will make the journey home that much better?"

how many wake up calls do we need? in my own opinion and this is a fans FORUM, we're lucky to be where we are judging by performances on a whole this season? this team needs a serious [****!!****] wake up call if we're going to go up...

Woeful, woeful, woeful. Tonight I am crying for the first time since I originally saw Bambi's mum die.

Oh the glory of it. That is the worst I have seen in my sixteen years as a supporter (and yes I have missed one or two games along the way). Christ football must have been piss poor prior to 1987.

Well said Martin and Liam. Tonight was a disgrace and not what anyone should expect from a team in sixth playing the team in the bottom 3. However, Martin, I do have to say that I think the over use of the 'f' word was a bit wrong and at times was quite embarrassed by it, although I do understand why you felt like it and I agree with your points. Glen Harris was the only player to gain any credit from tonight. After Saturday's excellent individual performance, Wilkinson was anonymous while players like Daly, Haddow and especially Barras were no where near their normal high standards. One point, which I made on the coach, is that any changes made to the starting line up for any match are only ever made due to injury or absense. The team tonight was the same as Saturday except Miller for Boot who was injured. On Saturday the only change was Judge for Foster who was injured. Gary summed this situation up well by stating that it may lead to a sense of complacency amongst some players who feel that they play if fit. This fact may show a slight deficiency in the tactical management of Denton, as even teams like A*senal who have hardly lost this season make regular changes to freshen things up.

I am not sure that Arsenal do make changes to freshen things up. I think if the first XI is fit Mr Wenger would pick it. I think Eddie is entitled to think that the XI that produced the goods in February should be able to do the same against Bracknell and Casuals. He therefore only made changes when his hand was forced.

Eddie should feel let down by the players, I know I do. The only criticism I have of Eddie today is that he does not act quickly enough when things go wrong and I do not believe the changes he makes are always for the best.

Sorry I embarassed you by the way. I should come with a parental guidance warning.

Should point out Martin it wasn't the actual word (as I have used it many a time) but just the frequency of it.

P.S. I hope that you don't stick to your promise and stay away Saturday. I'm sure I speak for most people when I say that it just wouldn't be the same without you. It would definately be quieter.

Well I am thinking I could invest my money better. I usually spend £16.00 per home game. So eight pints of lager in the Stag and come in for free at half time...

Well I am gradually begining to calm down I have been ranting on here for over an hour. I will see how I feel come Saturday. I may sit in the corner silently though so not as to upset anyone...

Good point, I may have to come incognito, I think Alex Haddow really hates me now....

And my pic is honour of his hairstyle and everything...

It is a fair point Radders. Of course repetition is just a literary tool for emphasis. In all seriousness I will try and curb it. I will fail. I can't take a swear box that is for sure.

Just wanted to reiterate how great it was to see the Slough fans applaud the Casuals off the pitch last night, good to see sportsmanship still has a place. Also your players were a credit with the way they conducted themselves at the final whistle even though they weren't really at it during the game.

Really good to see our team do well last night, best of luck to you for the rest of the season and I hope you go up in the top six. We'll try and do you a favour at Hampton on Saturday!
