Great news I have always rated Chris Stowe and was disappointed that he was not with us at the start of the season.

Well that's two goalscorers already signed up for next season, and it's only March! When was the last time that happened?

 

Interesting talking to Justin after the game - he was obviously chuffed to have got Danny for another 2 years, and he also said that he wanted the bulk of the current squad to still be here next season.

 

IMO this is a good move - if you look at the way the young players that were here at the start of the season (ESP Taylor, Hunter, Dorms) have come on over the season, next season we'll see the benefits of the experience gained this year.

Yep, this is all good news. It would be nice if we could get KK as well, included in that "most of the squad"

for me bar danny our most influential players this season have been dormer, davidson and sappleton and it would be nice to see them signed up next season.

however if we are to have a decent sized squad i think we do need to have a reserve team as those on the fringes will want to be playing some footy not just warming the bench. i know the capital league isn't the greatest but at least its competitive and would serve us better than ad hoc friendlies.
