ETFC Supporters' Society FA Vase Competition

The ETFC supporters held a competition that cost £5.00 to enter which raised £320.00, of which a considerable amount will go as prize money.

 

All the supporters had to do was 'buy' an envelope. Each envelope contained the name of a team that was still left in the Vase competition at the time. Supporters did not know until the envelopes were opened during the quiz night which team they had chosen.

 

64 envelopes x £5.00 = £320.00. Not a bad return for a simple, yet effective money making competition which can be organised and managed effectively by almost anyone.

 

Where is this going?

 

Well. The final has now been decided and Carol R and Andrew M are in the running for first and second spot.

 

Derek R and Shannon M unfortuntely got knocked out yesterday but will be receiving their winnings by cheque.

Thanks to those 64 people who took part and gave their hard earned cash to aid their team.

 

The next time a competition like this will be organised will be for Euro 2004. Watch this space.

Losing finalist - £40 prize

Losing semi finalists - £15 prize each

 

Not bad prizes for giving someone £5.00.

why cant things be put on www.etfc.co.uk in a plain fashion rather than in some other format that needs downloading from another site first?

Just to confirm that an £80.00 cheque will be sent to Carol and a cheque for £40.00 will be sent to Andrew for being the last two competitors in the Vase sweepstake. For those who do not know, Winchester beat Sudbury 2 - 0 last week.
