At Sutton, there are two pre match drinking options. There is a pub opposite the drive to the ground - or the club house is found by going down the right hand side of the ground, and entering via the main doors - looks like an officials enterance, but anyone will direct you to the club bar - it is easy to miss.

 

I tend to prefer the clubhouse, as not many people find it, so it is easy to get served in there - plus it was recently tarted up. From memory there is also a food serving hatch located next to the club bar.

The pub opposite the ground is called the Red Lion. It's a bit cramped in there but on the two occasions I've been there with Canvey our supporters have tended to go in there before and after the game.

There's also an excellent chippy a couple of doors along from the pub.

 

The Clubhouse has been refurbished and is quite impressive. It isn't easy to find mind you and have a feeling it doesn't open till 2pm.

 

Food there is quite good especially the burgers.
