2nd leg Tickets.

Well was that easy or what. Got to Penn Sports about 5pm and got me tickets. No queueing in the rain getting double pneumonia.

Why cant we sell 'em like that for other all ticket games or, give fans the choice - buy at Park Lane in the evenings or the shop by day.

Very easy as well for me. Went down there at 3.30 and bought my three tickets for the game no problem. No long queues or anything. From my ticket numbers they had sold about 85 tickets. Imagine quite a few will buy their's on Saturday or at the club Tuesday night.

Tickets on sale Tuesday evening ? Yes they are, but only to season ticket holders. I sent my brother down (he lives locally, I don't) to buy one for me, but he was told non-season ticket holders can only purchase them from Penn Sports - which of course he can't go to until Saturday cos he is at work during the week ! Making the game all ticket is one thing, not selling tickets at the club seems to be taking things to an altogether more bizarre level. I may be missing something here but I don't see the point in restricting ticket sales in this way.

Well i`m not sure who told him this, i bought tickets tonight without a season ticket as did others.

im not sure why it is all ticket at all.. i will be away that saturday so it matters not to me, but if i was around i would have to trek over to the island to get a ticket.. ok not the greatest hardship in the world but a lot of casual fans who arnt on the island who may have turned up on a whim on the saturday wont be bothering..

this is the trophy semi not sarfend in the f.a. cup..

I wouldnt mind betting that on the day you will be able to pay at the gate,I think that making it all ticket they are trying to ensure that people pay up front in case (god forbid)we are 3or4 nil down in the first leg people wont bother to turn up.Lets face it theres no way they are going to sell all the tickets!

Well i am quite certain thats not the case. This is canvey island Football club we are talking about here the club that has won more matches in the last four seasons(check out the record books its true!) than any other club in the land.

I am sure they may be other reasons for making it all ticket.

Though right now I can think what they are!!

Make you right on that one Canv I think they may have shot themselves in the foot again with this all ticket stuff. Most of those that live off the Island wont want to journey to pick up tickets unless they have a local supporter friend to do the deed. I can see a statement coming out that tickets will be on sale on the gate at the game.

I bought mine at Penn sport yesterday and my ticket number was 192! so if they are running numerically correct then sales will be low at present!!

I asked when i bought my tickets at the clubhouse lastnight if money would be taken at the gate on the day and the answer was no.

Not for much longer, in six weeks time the Ryman league will be a memory and 2 leagues below us.

When Aldershot beat us at the lane last season they were chanting 'leaving the Ryman today' I think thats a chant we can adopt now.
