If the GBMT goes ahead on the 3rd Perhaps Sawbo and the Town can bring their end of season match forward to the 3rd at the Brimobeu. Will allow Town to start work on the pitch earlier and to rest it longer in the closed season.

Actually something that Cleggy said....about bringing a game forward....

Now on Saturday 3rd April Sawbo and Romford do not have a game.....but play eachother on Tuesday 6th April....

Surely this game would benefit both teams being brought forward to the Saturday ?

Romford wont have to battle through the traffic and both sets of players dont have to go shopping with their respective halfs....

Why dont we have our match at Southend Manor re-arranged for May 1st now that it is not April 3rd instead of either the 10th or 24th April?

that way we will finish the same day as ilford and people can make definate plans and Manor will get more Towners visiting in warmer weather and being the final game.

Or am I trying to be too sensible for the ilford,sorry I mean ESL fixture secretary?

He came to us from ETFC......previous to that he was part of the recent sucesses at Leyton.

Good talker......good experience and a valuable part of the team.

Must say that the back line at Ilford is playing extremely well at the moment..

This includes Glenn Golby,Alan Milton and Dave McCarthy.
