fking mare getting home last night.. fire at limehouse near some gas cannisters or something.. myself and my frds where prepared to take the risk and run the chance of being blown up as we went through but the fire brigade, c2c and the train driver wernt playing ball.. liverpool st, to barking, to waiting, to no time for loacl beers, to home by 12.30.. very frustrating seeing as i left the city boozer at nine pm... still shut this morning, any idea when it will open thornsy?...

also this morning on the way in i had to get a tube (ugh poxy things) from west ham.. on the notice board it said 'district line is a good service' whats that all about..? thats someones opinion not a notice.. 'district line running normally' would do..

district line is a pile of falling apart cra.p would be more accurate

According to the Network Rail log a 24h exclusion zone was aggreed at 2204 last night, obviously these things can be reduced or extended.

Apparently the fire brigade are a litle concerned about some rather hot propane, butane and acetylene cylinders!

Trains will be diverted into Liverpool Street or Barking.

Were you on one of the trapped trains? By all accounts you're lucky your not still sitting there
