Hot off the press and straight on to the website and forum. News out of New Lodge is that Danny Hockton has signed a new contract which will take him to May 2006 in a Billericay shirt.

Where do I get the news...I was down the club for a drink mate and Ian Ansell asked me to post it...Which I gratefully did.

 

Also posted my first news post on the BTFC.net web site....Where I am now assistant to Mr. Williams.

 

Personally, I think this to be great news for the club as really, in front of goal, there isn't anyone in the league to touch him(with the exception of that Canvey chappie - but then again, look at what Canvey are achieving, with the team they have and a donkey couldn't miss the net!!!). And I make that rash statement taking into account that he has had a couple of injuries and that at the first half of the season the team wasn't really gelling...and still he was getting goals.

 

No, in comparison to the other strikers he is one of the best, in my opinion.

Fantastic news their are very few players to touch Danny at this level even bringing his injury prombelms into account and frankly Lee Boylan obviously isnt on ryman league wages
