One slight problem with your idea---the Council arn't spending any money, so a proportion of nothing is nothing. The idea is for the development to be self financing, though certain grants would be available, it would not cost the Council.

The funding for the Slough regeneration is coming from a number of sources, with substanial amounts from regional government.

 

Yes there is money but, only if STSA meets their requirements is the issue.

 

There is a need to make STSA community focused to be able to attract this money, i.e. youth teams both male and female etc.

 

Government funding is about meeting project criteria and engageing disafected and under represented groups.

This is interesting - I thought the Stadium financing was separate from the Slough Regeneration project and was justintended to complement it and make use of land to give us a home, not take part of the regeneration resources. As I said in a previous post, come on those in the know - is this true?
