Help! Which Film!!?

I remember seeing a film a few years ago on television, where this geeky looking bloke in glasses claims to be the long lost son of this woman, and it turns out he's a psycho.

 

The one scene I remember is there's a frozen lake and this geezer is trapped underneath the ice, and you just see his body floating under the ice.

 

Any ideas??

There was a body floating under the ice sequence in the Omen, but not much of the rest seems to fit. Sorry.
