Slough Town have got one eye over their shoulder towards Staines and others, and at the same time one eye on Hampton in 4th. I just wonder if our games in hand will actually glean maximum points, as have a somewhat difficult April ahead - no less than EIGHT games (barring more postponements and a replay with Bracknell), an average of one every 4 days or so, which include Worthing and Windsor. And let's not forget Worthing also have games in hand.

 

I would hope we can get at least 15 points from the 7 league games in April - that is, five wins and anything extra against Windsor and Worthing. Looking at it optimistically, 17 points would be a fantastic month. It's going to be very interesting, and very very close.

 

Well done today Rebels, good to see the team back to winning ways. Whatever we may think about the Bracknell game, that's 1 defeat in 10 now. Keep it going boys.

That's 5 games in 11 days !!! And it doesn't get any better 'til the end of the season... OK the above aren't the most difficult games in the world on paper, but tiredness will undoubtedly set in and this is where their season could be won and lost. We should just hope we don't have to get into a similar situation where we're playing three or four times a week!

(And anyway, I have not been able to access the Isthmian site from work - URL was one of many sports-related sites blocked by an access filter, although now seems to be accessible again! Fortunately, STFC site, and this forum, seem to slip through the net!!)
