Trust Fund Raising

Ian

Recommended Posts

Look out in today's programme for some details of the sponsored walk to our last away game at Metropolitan Police in April.

This is the first major fund raising activity since the formation of the Trust so we hope that it will be well supported, both in terms of participants but also with dontions by those who are unable to take part.

Anyone interested in taking part (including those who have already confirmed verbally) can either leave their details at the Supporters Hut on a match day or drop me an e-mail at: trust@sloughtownfc.net

Thanks for your support. <img src="/images/graemlins/top.gif" alt="" />

Yes BFR proberly to the trust, but also some for the charity would ensure we also follow the guide lines for the trust, to help local charities as well ...a very important part to ensure we are a part of the local scene.

Don't forget if you are planning to participate in the sponsored walk to Metropolitan Police, please mail me your details to trust@sloughtownfc.net. That includes those who have already verbally confirmed.

At the moment, we're asking politely but soon, anyone capable of walking from one end of Stag Meadow to another will be hunted down and forcibly made to put their name down!

As a huge incentive, I've agreed with my company that they will match any sum we give to The Slough League of Friends up to £1,000. Let's get people taking part so we can pass that target and take advantage of their generosity.

At tomorrow's game I shall have the sponsor forms for the walk to Metropolitan Police on April 24th. Anyone who is planning to participate should come and see me and take one so we can start raising money straight away.

I mentioned before that I've agreed with my company that they will match anything we give to The Slough League of Friends up to £1,000. Let's get as many people participating on the forthcoming walk and take as much advantage as possible of their generosity.

In addition, I'm delighted to say that I've also managed to get them to match the £680 cheque we handed over at the Trust Launch so that's possibly almost £1,700 that the Trust will be handing over in addition to whatever we raise. That's fantastic publicity for the Trust and it's commitment to the community of Slough. Let's now do our part.
