Alan Brazil Puts His Foot In It

Recommended Posts

Talksport listeners were treated on Wednesday morning to the sound of ex-Man United striker Alan Brazil putting his foot in it live on national radio.

Brazil, co-host of Talksport's popular breakfast show, was engaged in conversation with TV critic Garry Bushell who had attended a tribute show for comic Bob Monkhouse the night before.

Brazil: "So, how is Bob's health these days?"

Bushell: "Er.. he died, at Christmas."

Alan Braizil is usually on Anglia Sport and with his connections with Ipswich he obviously wants ITFC to win, but then he also cheers on the other 8 league clubs from the region, surprisingly Norwich, but then Peterboro, Luton, Southend, Northampton, Cambridge, Rushden and Colu.

He is totally biased on any decission and always backing the Anglia based team. You all thought Brooking sat on the fence, watch Brazil.

Although good on Talk Sport with Mike in the mornings.

Mike Parry & Dominic Beacroft [? - Beaky] yesterday morning....

Mike Parry, reading out a promotional item said:

"...will be appearing at...stadia...all round the country. Notice I said stadia, and not stadiums as is written here. This is because I'm an educated guy and know that the plural for stadium is stadia..."

And then he immediately said: "The first will be appearing at You-Wood Park..."

Beaky: [laughing] "Don't you mean Ewood Park?"

Parry: [embarrasement evident in his voice]

"Oh yeh...of course I did! I meant that"

Most people seemed to have missed Gavin Peacock on BBC 3 before the Newcastle Valarenga (sorry if thats wrong) game where talking about the visitors he said they would be hoping to nick a goal but if they couldn`t they would be after a 0-0 or 1-1 draw, now that would be clever IF they didn`t score.
