Tonights ressie match

Result was 1-1 against Woking who are top of the table. They took the lead midway through the first half with a header from a corner and the Rebels equalised in the second half when Miller scored after Andy Deaner's mishit shot fell to him. Very similar to Booty's second on Saturday.

Line up (I think) was: Hunt, Gilkes, Brown, Moller, Haddow, Hyatt, Seedel, Bartley, Deaner, Miller & Steer. Two triallists came off the bench in the last five minutes. Miller looked very sharp as did Alex Haddow.

Crowd was a very healthy 66 which beats many Division One North & South attendances this season.

What an awesome evening. It doesn't get better than a crap reserve match to get me feeling better after United's sh*te last night. Can't believe how Miller's goal was an exact carbon copy of Boot's 2nd on Saturday (except it wasn't from a corner), Deaner's mishit volleys could yet take us to the top of the league (as long as other players keep following them in). Did anyone else know BTW that their keeper used to play for Team Bath and Torquay. There's nothing like a bit of knowledge.

2 best bits of the evening;

- Finally getting through the whole Matt Miller song (even if most of it was on my own)

- Singing about Ryan 'evil' Sliski, 'He's just the son of the devil'

Classic comedy that can only be found on a Wednesday night at Stag Meadow

P.S. The two subs were named as Gavin Murr (or could have even been Murnagh who played for us a couple of times when we were in the Conference) and Nicky White and there was another one who didn't get on, Emma told me the name but I've forgotten it.

Just realised I've gone past the 200 posts mark, so in true Oscars fashion, I'd like to thank my parents, my other immediate family especially my uncle D, cousin M and grandfather L, and finally to the people who give me reason to post; the players and fellow supporters of Slough, as well as ITV who, by providing never ending stats, give me plenty of reason to post endless piles of drivel. See you all soon. Peace out.

up the rebels...

BTW...tks to those who attend these matches...as the last 3 home matches have raided enough money to ensure the officals were paid....

thanks................ <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

So instead of using that money wisely, we've been bribing the officials??? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> And we still couldn't win!
