On 17 mins, Camb Univ took the lead, when from a corner from the left, the ball was backheaded across the goal and a firm header planted past Jackman. 3 mins later, the Saints levelled matters, when a deep cross from the left was met by Atkinson, who beat the Camb Univ goalie with a fine looping header. Camb Univ took the lead on 69 mins with a superb strike from the left and finally settled the game on 86 mins, breaking through the centre and sliding the ball past Jackman for their third. Overall, this was a very competitive game with both sides playing good passing football but Camb Univ eventually proving the stronger team on the night. Several substitions were made by the Saints throughout the game.
