Sorry geez. Despite his skills, Brayley does have an attitude problem and a short fuse, seen it before at Canvey. Just passing comment.

Will see you all Thursday I expect, a yellow scarf hanging around my neck.

Just Been On the Bognor site and read their report it seems that it was a great performance, with them classing us as the best team they have played this season .

Bad news was that Brayley was sent off for kicking out, what a stupid thing to do when 3-1 up , had it of been a tackle you could say it was in the game but ....grrr.

What an improvement on Saturday, and an excellent game of football to boot, probably helped by the snooker table surface.

It took a while for chances to come at either end but we were treated to some fine passing football. We came close after 17 minutes when an Adam Locke free kick from inside the 'D' hit the wall and spun just wide, but Bognor took the lead on the half hour. Guy Rutherford crossed in from the left and Matt Russell controlled, lost his marker and shot unchallenged into the top corner. For the rest of the half we slowly pressured for an equaliser and it nearly came 8 minutes later when a Bertie Brayley shot was pushed onto the bar by the keeper. The goal which seemed inevitable came a couple of minutes before half time, Vinnie John heading over keeper Craig Stoner from a Mark Graham cross.

John Keeling came on for Locke for the second half and we looked even more dangerous. Stoner saved well from a Lee Williams shot 5 minutes in and we took the lead in the 63rd minute when Lee Matthews got the vital contact in a crowd of players at the near post to glance in John Martin's inswinging corner. Our third goal came with 8 minutes to go just as the home side were beginning to create openings for an equaliser. A long kick from Danny Gay was missed by the last defender under pressure from Vinnie John and Bertie Brayley ran through, let the ball bounce a couple of times and struck the ball firmly past Stoner. In the last minute though, Brayley was sent off after kicking out at a Bognor player.

Line-up:- Gay, Gooding, Kerrigan, Adedeji, Matthews, Williams, Graham, Locke (Keeling 45), John, Brayley, J Martin. Subs not used:- Douglas, Southon, McGowan, McCartney (GK)
