I'm confused

I do have some idea of what went on at the weekend (and presume I am perhaps not meant to say anything about it?) But I don't understand why the link to here from the City page says the messageboard is closed unitil (sic) further notice - when it quite clearly isn't.

EFMTFTV - I imagine if this issue is going any further (i.e. the Police) they probably don't want people talking about it on here - which is fair enough - I suppose.

From what I gather the players in question have been fined and the matter has been dropped as far as the police are concerned.

Ok, Webbo - any possibility of enlightenment on why the link on the website says the board is closed? I'm just concerned that there may be plans afoot to close the board down.

I presume that the club will now appoint a new captain. Or will attacks on supporters be condoned? It is unacceptable to go around punching people because they voice an opinion on their playing abilities. Fans have every right to voice their opinions, and a player should have thick enough skin to accept the criticism. After all, the club are fourth from bottom of the league, so I would suggest criticism is warranted.

I guess it's not the best way in the world of attracting new fans to the club to see a thread entitled 'St Albans players attack their own fans' on a forum linked to the official website's message board, however 'unofficial' that message board is. I could go on but I won't as too much opinion based mainly on heresay has been voiced already.
