TRUE STORY, and I'm sure I've posted this before.

 

Mate of mine driving a mini-bus through the local countryside.

 

Surrey Union Hunt out doing their usual kinky thing !

 

Mate comes across a clown in pinks who's got seperated from the rest. The horse is very jittery and the lane is narrow ! Me mate, bein' the country boy he is, stops and turns off the engine so the horse won't startle any further.

 

The pink coated clown regains control of the horse, doffs his riding hat to me mate.

 

Me mate winds down window and says,

 

" [color:"red"] I was stopping for the horse - Not you, you [****!!****] !"

why assume all fow hunter are snobbish clowns, im sure there is many a coal mining whippet breeding fox hunter out there who likes to see foxy shredded.. maybe as many as a dozen or two

anyone see that footage on sky where they dug up foxy and the dogs shredded him (or her with 5 cubs to feed if your a fox lover) anyway i dont want to rekindle the aruement about hunting we've done that to death (oops pun alert!), what im thinking about was why did they blank foxy out (like when an ira snitch is being interviewed and their face is digitally blanked).. was foxy a terrorist? was he where he shouldnt be and they wanted to protect his annonimity...

Funny enough Canv...I was going to start another thread asking if there was no dignity left in death these days.

Last night's news carried an item on the 1157 Theatre Group who are going round hospices wanting someone to donate a dead body to appear in their play!

I mean, has April Fool's come fking early??

What with people eating eachother, and that German "artist" exhibiting corpses - Damien Hurst's cows and sharks even - it seems that we have developed an even greater morbid fascination with death and dead bodies.

I blame Jeremy Bentham!!

The fact that they pixelated [sp?] the fox is an irony in light of all this.

What are you on about, CANV, you DO live in the country! I mean, Canvey is hardly the teeming metropolis is it?

 

Actually I agree. I love being in the country but I also love the big city, and the moany old country bumpkin types give me the pip. Of course the countryside is remote, that's the whole point of it! The moaners want to live in idyllic surroundings, with beautiful scenery and in peace and quiet, but also want all the services and facilities provided for them right on their doorstep. Well you can't have it both ways! If you want those those benefits then you have to put up with the hospital being 20 miles away or whatever.
