THE POODLE COPS IT

A traffic policeman was repeatedly beaten over the head with a poodle after stopping a lorry driver.The officer was recovering from his bruises in hospital last night.The deputy sheriff from michigam was attacked after attempting to stop a doge ram truck that had jumped a red light, the lorry rammed the police vehicle pushing it 250ft along the highway before the driver then jummped out whirling a french poodle by the collar and using the animal to cudgel the officer.

Lieutenant dale miller of the oakland sheriffs dept said "he brought the dog out and brandished it as a weapon to swing at the officer", police used tear gas and a stun gun to subdue the driver who may face charges of attempted murder and animal cruelty.

The dog is saisd to be in good health.

Sure is cruelty to the dog.....it might have caught something from the cop and have to be put down!

mind you how do you explain getting sent down.

in a cell with another inmate the inmate turns to him and says, i got sent down for armed robbery and drug dealing, what are you in for, oh im in for attempted murder with a french poodle.
