the windsor game was not that pleasing. we played well in the last 5-10 minutes. could have had two penalties. the top 6 is looking pretty tight.

yes, but with lewes 2 points behind us, it is a bit close for comfort. anyway good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully will see you in the b&b cup final! (if you get their) the final is on April 12th (the potential derby between royals and rebels!)

Come on you Royals!

Top six 'dogfight'...

Just out of curiosity, did a little mathematical exercise:

Take the top eleven teams (as of 03 Mar) and extrapolate (yes, that's a big word, and not the slightest bit rude )...

What if each team won all of their games-in-hand to catch up with Dulwich and Walton, who have both played 36 games?

Resulting table:

01. Lewes................80

02. Windsor & Eton....79

03. Worthing.............77

04. Slough Town.......68 (on GD - at least +30 to Dulwich's +16)

05. Dulwich Hamlet....68

06. Hampton & Rich B..67

07. Staines Town......64

08. Bromley..............63

09. Leatherhead........61

10. Croydon Athletic...60

11. Walton & Hersham..54

OK, so it's not very realistic - it ignores form, ignores any matches played between these 11 teams, and assumes that Worthing have a stunning run of seven results. (And also assumes that Slough win their next three games!)

Nevertheless, it gives an indication of how the table might be if none of the other results go in our favour.
