to Zeal for beating me by 1 point at scrabble. 367-366 in out closest game yet. He had a good start with glitz, druids, and a very clever playing of chime, but I came back with the rather flukey guess of ledgiest for 86 points, only to make my last play in the knowledge that he'd beat me by one point.

 

And naw, I don't think he was cheating <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Todays game finished with a 345-297 victory for me. Quite close throughout after Zeal struggled for 10 minutes on his first word, only to make a good comeback with the bingo 'overman' (to have too many men doing a job, apparently). It was close until the end when zeals play of quads left me with the chance to get 48 points from Zit, Qi, and Ut.

 

Zeal - I've checked and 'divings' is allowed and we could even have had 'overmans'. 'Fistys', however, would not have been allowed as you correctly thought.

 

The battle continues tomorrow - bet you can't wait to hear all about it <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
