Restructuring Latest

Recommended Posts

On the www.tonykempster.co.uk site we now appear to have switched divisions to a more midlands/east set up. I'm not convinced this is how the split will be made but these are the teams based on league positions as at 29th February 2004:

Aylesbury United

Billericay Town

Boreham Wood

Braintree Town

Bromsgrove Rovers

Chelmsford City

Cheshunt

Dunstable Town

Grantham Town

Halesowen Town

Hednesford Town

Heybridge Swifts

Histon

Hitchin Town

King's Lynn

Leyton

Northwood

Redditch United

Rugby United

St Albans City

Stamford

Wingate & Finchley

I shall refrain from comment.

OK, maybe I will comment after all <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

That is indeed a depressing list, I sincerely hope he has got it wrong. I can't see much there to tempt back the crowds of St Albans.

I don't want to go to Boreham Wood on foot or by any other means of transport, particularly, thanks very much.

Oh dear. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

That is truly depressing. One or two half-interesting midlands trips, and Kings Lynn could be a good piss-up, but otherwise...

Zeal - I would have thought you would have liked a trip to Grantham, if only to pay homage to Mrs T!

But yes, I agree with the rest of you that is a pretty depressing list.

I'm guessing it may be possible that a situation could arise where there may actually be an incentive for us to lose on the final day of the season? For instance, we may believe we have a huge financial incentive to join the middle of the lists in step 3, as opposed to the list on the right, and we may be able to affect this by losing to a team, who may then push another team into the midlands/eastern division?

Sorry, that was explained awfully, but does anyone understand what I mean?
