I understand from my sources, that a couple of Abbey players have been giving it to Bas. Well , lets set the record straight , 4 games 4 Bas victories!! Now , when i was on UEFA course talking to Terry Venables , he said the most improtant thing is winning, point taken Terry. What i remember from the WA v Bas games is that useless player in the middle of the park who looked like he would have been better suited on a basketball court and that bloke at the back who <img src="/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />wore the armband , but didn't have enough muscles to keep it on. Long ball you cry, those days of 152 passes for a goal are long gone. I suggest you watch some top level football and see how they change their style of play to suit days and opposition.

you did have the beating of us this season. i dont think you deserved to win all four games though.

 

they were 4 good tight games with you boys. i still think you could win the league looking at your remaining fixtures! but to win all of them would certainly be a tall order.

 

we never say anything that bad about a team that has beaten us so many times in one season, we will save it for next year!

 

as for the footballing side of it, we try to play football. you play long but its effective for you.

Ok fair play, I thought it was all banter? We have a good relationship with the other clubs now we feel. We play hard, want to win and then shake hands....or is that not the case? Bas have turned into a bit of a bogey team for us this year, good luck to you, them whoever. Keep it going the league must be getting stronger and all this banter is great for publicity.

im pleased you were all pointed out to me before the games when we played, thought you played ok in 2nd leg against us, your defending and heading both good. i look forward to playing you lot again next season, hopefully there will be a better result for us this time though.
