waltham abbey 2 bowers 2

With Bowers main strikers, Wayne Thomkins (missing from the starting line up) and Anthony Reeve (playing at 50% capacity with a dodgy hamstring) Bowers were happy with the result which extended their unbeaten leasgue run to 5 matches. (Not bad considering the start to the season they had)

All the goals were scored in the 1st half the pick of the bunch being Bowers 2nd a 25 yarder from Lewis.

The 2nd half was pretty even with both teams having chances to win it, but in the end a draw was a fair result.

Sounds about right!

Didn't the teams perform well in the 2nd half though during the stop/start blizzard ?

A very enjoyable end-to-end game which was only marred when with a couple of minutes to go Lee White and Paul Shave were dismissed.

For the record the Abbey goals were scored by Wesley Forde and Tony Hudson (og).
