so...disappointing today for all of us and no credit to the boys from the black country...they did no work on that pitch at all since tuesdays game....backfired big time....

anyway....what about the semi final draw on Monday....political correctness or a genuine draw......well....

given the recent court ruling...the FA don't really want the connie teams out of the final.....by the same token...they also want a 'token' fall guy.....

or perhaps they want an all essex ryman final to appease topsy and co.....

so.....

hdsfd/urchins v's shrews/telfod...evens

canvey v's aldshite....1-2 on

canvey/urchins....5-1

aldshite/telfd....5-1

or will the black balls and the velvet bag prevail....

ha ha...we dont worry about actualities adamski me old china...we use a 'scatter gun' approach to our 'wind ups'...catches more victims....

'twas however the 'black country' yesterday as fck all was done to get that pitch ready and the postponement cost both clubs thousands of pounds and severely pissed orf the 'real owners' of both clubs...the fans...

the fact remains that maybe your manager fancied playing us on a cold wet tuesday night in front of 40 urchins rather than face a team that had been up there for two days relaxing and would have had the sun on their backs....with 300 of us baying for blood....what would have been a GREAT day out for everyone has been spoiled...

we'll be back and ready for tuesday and more fired up because we feel aggreived...sod all was done on that pitch...its fckin outrageous...

I also saw on your forum that you guys were offering to have days off on friday and work on the pitch...well done for that....its not your fault...its the fckin amateurs that run clubs that ought to be shot at dawn...

fckin blazers...

Very doubtful I'll be able to get to the game on Tuesday. A couple of questions though, if the game doesn't go ahead again on Tuesday night because of the weather, any idea of when the match would by re-scheduled for? Also, if the game was to go ahead on Tuesday, but end in a draw, any idea of when the replay would be? Just making sure I keep my diary clear and don't miss anymore matches! Cheers.

Off the top of my head, if the match was postponed or went to a replay then the match would be on Tuesday 9th March most probably.

All I know is that the match must be completed before the first leg of the semi finals on March 27th.

It seems that your boys have got a bit of a fixture backlog!

Coming from the Midlands, Maladroit and co have introduced me to Hornchurch. I think it's a disgrace that your game wasn't on. We had some snow (couple of cm) on Friday, which had melted by Fri afternoon. There was no further snow. Nearly every other game in the Midlands went ahead at all sorts of levels. It would have been easy to have got the pitch in an ok condition for the afternoon. My garden certainly was.

The only good thing to come out of it is that most of you didn't have a wasted journey.

I feel really sorry for you, because you've missed a big day out, and they are in a slump at the moment. Best of luck for grabbing a reply Tuesday and slaughtering them at yours in a money-spinning replay.

The thing I find strange is that Stafford Rangers who are just down the road from Hednesford and whose pitch is absolutely appalling (certainly when we played them!) managed to get their game against Crawley on.

Seems to be something funny going on!

Thanks Vogue, lads let's now put all this behind us and be positive.

The lads will prepare just as professionally as they did last week and all season in fact.

If you've any questions Vogue just stick them here and someone will pick them up.

If you come to the Stadium of Dreams come and have a drink with us and see the lovely Urchinettes.

regards

Nice to see you on our forum Vogue.

Did you bring any Anonymous posters with ya??

Do you know what? There have been a few "questionable" incidents in the Ryman this season...not talking about on pitch but off pitch...like, some teams can't seem to keep their floodlights working when they go a goal or two down!! Hamsters in wheels, that's what I reckon

I'll see you back in C-C later...!

Sounds a bit like us! Although that incident was 2 seasons ago!
