Possible site downtime

Hi,

 

We are upgrading the software on this server - it is possible that we will have either short periods of downtime or possible errors, once the upgrade has taken place.

 

We will of course correct any issues should they arise as quickly as possible.

 

If you spot any problems that arise, please let us know.

well I think thats totally out of order.....

When we were enjoying ourselves on the last day of the season for many - the server that we are currently on had a bit of a bad day.

 

Hopefully none of you have seen any problems - as I have been working for the last 24 hours to fix it - however I now need to do this upgrade which I mentioned above that we actually put on hold - this is now being done as an emergency procedure (i.e. no warning!!)

 

There may be downtime, or other minor issues afterwards - but only time will tell.

 

I have another server standing by to take this site, and others if required - but this will involve propagation of 24-48 hours

Upgrade almost complete - and so far no downtime.

Okay - upgrade is complete.

 

However if anyone uploaded any images over the last 24 hours, please re-upload as the upgrade decided it knew best and lowered the permissions on a directory.

 

I have now amended this, and the upload worked fine.
