There was a discussion about this on the IsthmianForum which mention something about their manager who was sacked handing out unauthorised payment bonuses to players (allegedly) who was then promptly sacked therefore no bonus payments which coincided with Harvey leaving.

 

We should be happy though, imagine how many chances are going to be created down the right wing against Lewes now!

Pity we've already played them twice really !

Our manager was sacked for saying lies about the board to his coaching and playing staff. The so called bonus payments didn't come out until during his disciplinary meeting - sort of sealed his dismissal.

 

As for Harvey he spoke out in defence of manager in the Non-league paper only once truth came out he back tracked by saying the paper mis-quoted him and he was willing to stay and fight for his place. In our mid-week game he didn't figure and next we know he's signed for Lewes. He will be missed as would of been experience for us next season but he was a liability in terms of outside commitments.
