Claire, you obviously didn't understand it then.

It's not sex and violence for the sake of it, and the only sex and violence is in the first half hour of the film to 'set the scene'. Even the rape scenes were directed with a certain amount of humour to them, probably for this purpose.

In a nutshell, the film is about a brainwashing experiment to try and turn an evil mind into a good mind.

Did you follow that part of the plot when you watched it, Claire??



LOL!!!!! I watched this film in Bournemouth and we were really p@ssed at the time!!! I decided from about 45 minuted into it that i didn't like it and so just switched off mentally and just fell asleep (as i tend to do when i'm drunk!!!!!)

If you like it Zeal, that's ok, i just don't. Not a film i would recommend!!!!!

Hey Zeal, don't start getting nasty with me. Yes, i only saw 45 miniutes of it, but it was enough to make me not like it. On this basis i wouldn't recomment it. Doesn't matter if i watched the whole lot or not!!!!!!

This was an amusing incident which some of you on here [with more discernable tastes] might relate to.

Many moons ago, with my first girlfriend proper we decided to go to the pictures.

Couldn't decide what to see, so we did a deal. We'd watch the film she wanted to see the first week, and then we'd watch the one I wanted to the following week.

 

So..first week..we watch Fame, the Movie!![yawn]

 

Second week..took her to see The Wall.[Pink Floyd].

 

Terrified her, it did!!

I love Teen Wolf!!!!!!! (I know it's not American Warewolf)

 

I've never seen Lake PLacid - is this the one with Matt Dillon and Kevin Bacon in or have a got the wrong film?

 

Never seen Con Air. Was going to watch it at the bird behind the bar's 16th or 17th birthday party, but we ended up watching Anaconda. Urgggghhhhhhhh!!!!!

Never seen Teen Wolf, but if it's the one with Michael J Fox, there's absolutely no comparison

 

Lake Placid has Bill Pullman, Bridget Fonda and Bendon Gleason in it.

 

Con Air is great (Amazon £6.99)

 

Love, Honour & Obey is a little known (BBC) Gangster film which has just about every brit in it.

 

The Long Riders is great if you're into the James/ Younger gang and what happened when they didn't have any more Yankees to fight

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think i did get confused as i have only seen bits of it!!!!!!! Some bits were too scary or gruesom to watch so i had to hide behind a pillow!!!!!!

LOL!!!!!!!! Michael J Fox is so cute, and this is why i love watching Teen Wolf!!!!! It's so corny, but he is sooooo lovely. He was my childhood crush!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
