Any word on how the pitch up at Hednesford is looking?

 

Its been pretty cold lately. Wondered if their pitch is frozen over?

Haven't seen the pitch - but daytime temperatures are scheduled to be 4-5 so it should be okay -

Both say "Good visibility" or "unlimited visibility". Better than those tickets I had for England vs Holland at Wembley which stated "very restricted view"!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

According to a posting on the Hednesford message board, there's already a covering of snow up there. Will they be doing a pitch inspection before we all set off tomorrow morning does anyone know? My gut feeling is that the game is going to be off, hope I'm proved wrong!!

update from hednewsford 5 minutes ago...10.45am....is that the game WILL be on...there is a light covering of snow over the pitch but the sun is shining up here and its melting.....

 

watch for the racing at wolverhampton...thats only a stones throw from hednesford...

 

gary calder is going to the ground in a couple of hours so I'll update you again then...

The track at wolverhampton is supposed to be all weather though. Best wrap up warm, hednesford isn't the warmest place around (last night I drove back from wolverhampton at about 12:30 and the temperature dropped from -0.5 to -3.5)
