We've had this discussion before Zeal. I remember because my Uncle "claims" he can talk to the dead, and everyone thought it was absolutely disgusting that he would do this to a bereaved relative.

I think we should have a discussion on inventers!! I was just cutting some paper up this morning and I thought, what a genius idea it was for someone to invent scissors!!!!!! Brilliant!!

 

And isn't it great that we can use a name of a person, for who invented something and turn it into a slang word, for example Thomas Crapper invented the flushing loo!!!!!!!

i always saw engineers as more impressive than inventors..

ok steel and bolts are great inventions, so is the steam engine.. but its the steam trains the bridges they cross n tunnels they go through that people notice..

what about terror attacks what odds on one in this country in 2004..

Terror attack on Britain? Let's face it, if they wanted to do it, they wouldn't find it particularly difficult.

 

Gas attack on the tube would be piece of piss if they wanted to. How could we prepare against that?

close lots of stations.. run the tubes extra slow.. occasionally crash a train or two on the off chance of killing a terrorist, let loons out of jail so they can use their special powers to push people under trains as they must be terrorists ..
