the one film to this day i cant watch, is Scum

A callow, spotty youth sneaks into see Quadrophenia whilst paying for 1941

and catches the last half hour of Scum

now if anyone's seen this film knows what im talking about...

JK- Yep, seen 'Scum' and it's definitely not one for the faint-hearted! I think I managed to watch all of it, except for the 'Greenhouse scene'. I think you know why!

I can't stand clowns. Actually it was the film 'It' which gave me my phobia. That film scared me shitless and my brother knew it so he wound me up for weeks, hiding toy clowns in various places. How mean!

Films that used to scare me as a kid were the Quatermass films (I know that may not be the correct spelling). British Sci Fi at it's best (or worst...)

Cor, yeah!
I've got Quatermass & the Pit on tape! Used to scare me too.
Didn't they do a Quatermass tv series in the 1980s, or perhaps earlier. I seem to remember that being pretty good on the scare front - even tho' "no clowns were involved".

Different focus: Anyone remember Project Blue Book on tv. Forerunner to X-Files, only better.
All about the US military gathering evidence of UFO landings etc..

With so many channels available on Sky and Digital, they really ought to start up a 24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week testcard station.

Perhaps they could call it BPM TV!!

Mate, I'd love that at least I'd know we had a channel number and was on air - Obviously the girl wouldn't have that blackboard with her she'd be on a skateboard

As for phobia's, I was always sh*t scared of the giant by the rollercoaster in the big fair in Great Yarmouth.

As for films - Drop Dead Fred anyone?
