What was that horror film called with all the toys in it, and they went around killing everyone? That was a horrible film as will.

I don't like them kind of films.

Action and thrillers i can do, but horror just scares me silly!!

Dunno? Toy Story? [hee hee]

How about the Children of the Damned [or was it Village of the Damned?]

Another one that scared me as a kid...but still watched it everytime they put it on!

Loved the Hammer Horror films too.

What do you think of Sleepy Hollow, Claire? My little girl loves that one!

Never watched it!!!!! I can't watch it unless i'm with someone and there's loads of pillows to hide behind!!!! I'd most probably start to cry when the scary bits came up, and this isn't really classed as enjoyment!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't one of the characters ride around on a horse with his head off?

Yeah..there are a few beheadings in it..but believe me..it's all cartoon style...actually very Hammer Horror. Believe me, I wouldn't let my littl'un watch it if it was "gratuitous violence" - but then, she can differentiated between fantasy/horror and the stuff we see on the news.

I don't usually like violent films, and am not a particular fan of car chases and action sequences - altho' I admit there are exceptions!

Whatever stirs your porridge..I 'spose!

Oh, it's a catooney style film? Hmmmm, maybe i'll try and watch it then. How old's your little'un?

I can differentiate between fantasy/horror and the stuff we see on the news, but if i'm scared i jump, and i feel really scared and most of the time i start to cry!!!! I'm such a big baby!!!!!!! i realy need to sort it out!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't being "sarcastic" in case you think I was insinuating you can't tell the difference. It's just that they say kids can't differentiate...and I don't know who else has kids on here.

Anyway, it's not a cartoon...but it's not particularly horrifying in a realistic sense. Does that make sense?

She's 9! First watched it when she was 7 or 8. But then, she LOVES Johnny Depp...as well as John Keeling [HFC, skilful player].

That Pirates of the Caribean was a bit of a let down. Depp was funny in it as Keef Richards, McKenzie Crook was interesting! But o/all I think that film went on too long by half an hour!

[i can't spell this morning....aaaarggggh!!]

I thought that Pirates of the Carabean was the right length to be honest!!!!!! I'll never get bored of watching it - if i like i film then i usually watch it over, and over again!!!! I've seen T-2 over 25 times!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

That's alright then. Forget what I said, Claire. I'm not particularly articulate today...

I liked Pirates while I was watching it...it's just that my opinion has changed a little since. I should watch it again I think! I love all of Depp's films, and I think all of Tim Burton's...including Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Did you see Elf?

JKIS:

Clockwork orange is just so perverted. It's good in the way it was all directed, but what is it with those white "long-johns" and bowler hats and walking sticks.

I thought the way in which they all got high and then went around asulting people was horrible and basically and if people get enjoyment out of this kind of stuff, then it's totally up to them, but it didn't do it for me.

Me & me mate watched a pirate version of Clockwork when we were about 11 yrs old. [About 1979/80] And it made such an impact on him that he began dressing like that, and got heavily into Beethoven [not a bad thing!], and started wearing eye liner.

Last time I saw him [about 6 years back] he was driving a Sunblest van!!
