Beaten me to it again Canv, but I don't get to work until 8 o'clock and you obviously get an earlier train.

Just to go on to the next stage, Kettering (86),Maidenhead (87) and Ford, Basingstoke, Hayes and Bishops Stortford (all 89) are next to fall.This will leave us in the top eight.

 

My only worry is the lack of a fat lady when the time comes. Do Canvey have a fat lady?

7.10 That's my train time from Benfleet. Would be earlier, but have you ever tried to cross the creek at high tide? Those crocodiles are very frisky at that time of morning and the hippos upended my boat twice this morning!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest you have to leave that early to get off the island as the traffic is so bad. If you leave your house any later than 7.15 you are almost certain to get stuck in a traffic jam getting off the island unless it's the school holidays.

But I'm an extreme tight [****!!****] and don't want to pay the extra expenses...Student influence! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I might consider getting the train next year when the new College building opens right next to Southend Central...I'm getting tired of all the poxy school kids that huddle round behind the driver on the bus - Those going to Chalkwell, St. Bernards etc are right b*****ds!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

if u cycle to the station you must be able to get some student discount thingy.. you will save yourself loads of travelling time and get some valuable exercise to boot..

so the new college is due to open in 2005 is there a website for it?
