Intesresting twist for Walton game

Our last quality centre forward, before Ian Hodge.

I hope he plays for Walton next week and gets a good reception. Gary played, and was successful at the highest level of non-league football.

One of the Best Non League Strikers i have seen, a great servant to Slough Town and was undoubtably brilliant. Anyone who abuses him next week is a sad a**e hole and cant call themselves a real Slough Fan.

sorry you must all be youngster-sammy and lloyd??

be fair!!!

yes gary abbott was an all time great of non-league football strikers-he compares favourably with enfields noel ashford.but as you are talking slough i guess, then john ritchie(only played one season in the 70's)was different class scored as and when he liked, before Arsenal snapped him up......

did someone just slag off god? Westie was a legend even if he did play for wycscum! He was my hero and up there with my favourite all time slough players of Leo Sayer, Darren Anderson, Steve Thompson and Danny Nwaokolo! ok the last one was a joke! I only have good memories of Mark West please don`t start clouding my judgment!!!

Aah, Westie and Sayer, now there was a striking combination....

I've missed out on all the greats unfortunately as I've only been able to watch on a regular basis coincidentally enough since Mr Deaner came on board. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
