Quiz Night

Well done to that Chairman of the Supporters Club chap. A very good quiz night on Friday. A team called 'The Freeloaders' won. My team, "What are we doing here?", didn't. We didn't do terribly well identifying the 20 stills from Children's T.V. programmes down the ages, I'm afraid. Still, the game's the thing.

 

I thought that the longest running radio programme was 'Letter From America', but it's Desert Island Discs, apparently. The Stewards Enquiry is on Wednesday.

 

Here's one for those who had a pressing prior engagement:

 

7 of the top 10 best-selling albums of the 1960's were recorded by The Beatles. Name the other 3.

I think that it was soundtrack related? Can't quite remember now, but i think our team got it correct though!!!!

We did very well on the cartoon piece, shame they were all one's i've never watched!!! I hadn't seen half of them!!!

South Pacific was the first ever number one in the Albuns Chart back in November 1958, and it stayed at the top for SEVENTY weeks until Freddie Cannon knocked it off in March 1960!!
