A Quick Question For You, Zealster?

On the Duran Duran Greatest Hits album I purchased the other day I noticed the version of 'Ordinary World' was a lot different from one I've got on MP3.

 

For a start the version on the album was a bit shorter and cut out a couple of guitar solos. Looking at the notes with the album they say this is the version released as a single. I'm assuming the one I've got on MP3 which is nearly 6 minutes long was off an album. To be honest I prefer this version better!

 

Great album but I feel a bit ripped off. It's like Oasis releasing a greatest hits album and putting on it the radio edit version of 'Champagne Supernova' cutting out half the guitar solo!

 

Apart from that, no other complaints! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The version on Greatest is the single version which I prefer.

 

The MP3 version you've got is probably the one from 1993's The Wedding Album.

 

I think most of the songs on Greatest are the single edits, as it's a singles compilation.

 

Don't feel ripped off!
