Where's Vinny?

All the fans agree that Super John should be in the team but....having both JK and Mark Graham in the team does weaken the Midfield defensively. That said they both played against Tranmere etc

Perhaps he's upset The Borg???

As for Vinny, he'll be back in the starting line up for Hednesford that's for sure.

I agree Lord I was a bit dissapointed with Holligan but give him time.

So the starting line up should be this, do we think?

1: Gay

2: Gooding

3: Kerrigan

4: Adedeji

5: Matthews

6: Locke

7: Graham

8: Martin, J

9: Douglas or Brayley

10:John

11:Keeling

Was that Hednesford's spy, by the way, over at the south-west corner of the ground with his binoculars? All very sinister...

holligan pulled a hamstring in the first ten minutes which is why he struggled a bit and also why he came off....bertie and vinnie upfront sounds good for me next week....

lee williams is cup tied but the big canadian centre back is fit and ready....

normal back four plus graham locke martin and keeling for me but don't bank on it....

lockie and martin aint soft in midfield and we'll need to get past their clodhopping huge back four....graham and kilo can do that....

Yeah, without doubt it has to be Brayley ahead of Douglas every time. Dougie is starting to look better though.

In regards to Keeling I think it is always usefull to have somebody of his attacking quality on the bench. When he was starting every game he lost a little spark in my opinion.

Top quality player and he will get back in the starting line up, but for the moment I think George is doing the right thing.

I tend to think it was due to the weather. Those couple of games when he didn't look sharp, the ground was well heavy. I think Kilo's skills are better on a lighter surface - and as we're getting closer to the better weather I think we might see him making an impact again [as if he didn't against Burton!! ]

Interesting....I would probally go for Kilo in midfield but only because i think we have got to take the game to them, i think Gav has played very well but would probablly put him on the bench.

Upfront i would go for Vinnie and Bertie but Dougie for me is one of the most improved players he has gained pace and takes players on and again leaving Dougie out would be down to how important Vinnie is not to the detrement of 'the Doug'. I think its a bit harsh to go down on Gavin Holligan already he has played a grand total of....ninety minutes a bit earlier to tell i think.

My side would be

Danny Gay

Danny Kerrigan

Lee Matthews

Ollie Adedeji

Scott Gooding

John Keeling

John Martin

Asam Locke

Mark Graham

Vinnie John

Bertie Brayley

Mcartney

Keith Rowland

Andy Douglas

Jamie Southan (if fit) or Danny Cowley

Gavin Mcgowan

LOL, but you haven't stuck him in your team, or even the subs bench have you!

he won't be fit for saturday Lord...(I don't think so anyway)...I think I put that in the post higher up......

holligan could prove the bargain of the season...his pedigree is superb...methinks that a very good player is in there awaiting a good manager to bring him on....

lets hope its GB and that the player responds....

same with bertie...oodles of class and talent.....just needs bringing on....(I noticed when GB bolliked him against Burton he didn't like it and started to grumble).......

we'll see....
