The lino on that side, who I was speaking to in the bar after the game, said that their number 6 had threatened to "do" George after the game, after George had shouted something at him following a bad tackle he had made. By all accounts, both had further words after the game, but the lino said there wasn't anything in it and it all died down quite quickly.

I can understand that when you're near the bottom of the table you have to "fight" for survival, but their No. 6 was a tad extreme yesterday. How many times did he chop down Jonny Martin? 3 or 4?

Only the second home game I have seen since the new year.

Hmmmm first half thought we did well.

The second half was awful, I know they changed to a long ball 4-2-4 which we did not deal with very well, until Lockie appeared and started to stamp some authority in the midfield.

But a result is a result as they say.

I did not want to get into this, but as someone has accused Braintree and number 6, BQ of being a thug, take a look at Borg, he did not need to get involved when BQ disputed a call to a lino, but he did and wound BQ up so he retaliated.

How dare you say Braintree are nothing more than thugs, take the rose tinted glasses off.

I still wish Hornchurch all the best, but when someone slags your club off, you have to defend em.

I'm sorry Mark, but u have to admit mate ur number 6 was fuking useless..all game he lost the ball and followed it up by diving in trying to win it back....and every time a hornchurch player made a tackle on him he screamed like a little kid..I agree he's not a thug though, but he is in need of a few coaching sessions to put it kindly.

 

And as for GB....well what can you say QUALITY!!!

Fat Boy upfront was a real thug and the sub who jumped with his elbow in the back of his opponents head.

 

When is the no. six's voice going to break ...he did a great impression of a dolphion at one point.

 

At their place I thought that they weren't that bad but yesterday they were trying to kick us off the park.
